Stay on the path
The signposting of the main route is uniform along the entire Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail and always points the way from stage to stage in the direction of Zell am See or from Zell am See in the direction of Hüttschlag. Below are examples of the 20 x 20 cm signs as they are displayed along the Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail. In addition, information boards are set up at highlights, which contain valuable tips as well as the respective route.
The trail signs for the main route are green, for the alternative routes from stages 02 to 05, 12, 14 and 16 the signs are blue.
Use also our tour app
The "Erlebnis Nationalpark" tour app is an ideal companion on the Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail. The app includes a topographical hiking map and all stage descriptions as well as information on huts, vantage points, inns and leisure facilities. It can be downloaded in advance and used offline.
